Ovant ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect through useovant.com, why, and what rights you have over it. We are based in Oslo, Norway, and handle data in line with the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect
We collect data only when you actively provide it:
- Booking a call: when you book a discovery call, our scheduling provider (Cal.com) collects your name, email address, and any details you enter in the booking form. See Cal.com's own privacy policy for how they handle this data.
- Emailing us directly: if you email us, we retain that correspondence to respond and for our own records.
We do not currently run tracking analytics or advertising cookies on this site. If that changes, this section will be updated before any such tool goes live, and a cookie notice will be added if required.
Why we collect it
- To schedule and conduct discovery calls
- To respond to your inquiries
- To deliver services to clients under a signed services agreement
Legal basis
We process this data based on your consent (booking a call, emailing us) and, where you become a client, to perform our contract with you.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party processors to run this business:
- Cal.com — scheduling
- Google Workspace — email
- Stripe — payment processing, for clients only
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone outside of running this business and, where legally required, with authorities.
Data retention
We keep booking and correspondence data for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you or, for clients, for the duration of the engagement plus any period required by Norwegian accounting law. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below).
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet, Norway's data protection authority

Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including using reputable processors (Cal.com, Google, Stripe) who maintain their own security and compliance standards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business grows. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
